About Shane Davis for Aledo Mayor

Shane Davis is a dedicated community leader and local business owner running for Mayor of Aledo. Serving as an Aledo City Councilman since 2021, Shane has consistently championed the needs and concerns of Aledo residents. He served on the Parks and Recreation Board from 2019 to 2021, helping to enhance the community’s recreational offerings with projects such as the trails and the plan for Aledo Commons Park.

As the owner of the Aledo Athletic Club since 2012 and a proud Aledo resident for over 20 years, Shane is deeply invested in our city and understands the values that make our community special. He believes it is time for new, energetic leadership to navigate these changing times and is eager to bring his experience to the mayor’s office, where he will continue to advocate for Aledo’s best interests. 

Prior to being in the fitness industry, Shane was a Chef for H.E.B Central Market, Eatzis, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and several other restaurants and hotels.Shane and his wife Denise have three grown children and three dogs. In addition to serving his community, Shane enjoys hiking, archery, and cooking.
